Southdale’s company and Board restructure and expansion into new product areas and regions late last year is already paying dividends, as the firm is announcing today over £50 million worth of new contract wins.
Back in November, the Halifax-based construction company, which has over 20 years of technical expertise and experience in the social housing arena, announced that it was aiming to nearly double turnover to £60 million by the end of this financial year (June 2010).
Southdale is well on its way to surpassing that target, as the following new schemes, the company’s expansion into product areas such as schools, healthcare and extra care facilities and its strengthening national footprint, point towards a very buoyant and healthy 2010 order book:

Paul Moore, managing director for Southdale, commented: “Since our major company announcements late last year, we’ve continued to go from strength to strength with our expansion firmly built on acquiring new business and entering into new framework agreements. These contract wins rubber stamp our continued growth, increased market share in areas such as Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and North West and our strategic ambitions for the business over the next 6-12 months.
“However standing still has never been part of our philosophy, as the expert team here at Southdale continually looks forward to deliver more award-winning schemes, secure new contracts and bolster our growing reputation nationwide.”
